The green party calls for less alignment with Israel

Although happy with the recent developments in trade restricting. They are still not happy with how close the UK is still involved with Israel calling for more from individuals such as Miliband to do more.  The green party not wanting this and saying ‘’UK complicity in the genocide and occupation’’. Taking a strong stance on Israel. The Green party has called for ‘’ full two arms embargo , wide-ranging sanctions and an end to military and intelligence cooperation with Israel’’. Whether this is truly in the UK’s interest is unsure but they seem to think this is the direction the UK should aim towards and the green party also propose for further restrictions as well. Growing Christian nationalism in the UK

Image
As of 2020 there wasn't much talking about identity of faith when it came to the UK the only exclusion to that would be the Islam faith when discussing issues surrounding grooming gangs and immigration but since then after going through Covid, there has been more discussions of what is a Christian in terms of when it comes to the UK and fast forward to now you can see more movement surrounding the identity of Christianity saying no longer we are a British country and that you should adopt our values as British but the UK is a Christian country and so they should be adopting or appealing to our standards.  This isn't to say that every Christian is becoming a Christian nationalists but those that are politically right wing and more engaged with politics are becoming more Christian nationalists no longer adopting the pluralistic mindset. these topics could be like banning the burka, groups like the Christian institute wanting Christianity to be a key part of education ...

Andy Burnham continues war against illegal dumping, children now affected

With the new regulations taking place a few weeks ago, Andy Burnham has announced plans to make further crackdowns on illegal dumping. Recently there was a nursery enrolling new children to the site and there was a terrible smell nearby coming from an illegal dumping area and so the parents of the children decided to not enrol their children. The smell particularly got worse when the heatwaves were so frequent and hot as well. Authorities also have doubts on how effective the new measures and this new crackdown will be saying it could be too expensive to clean up. It's difficult to fix, the culture surrounding illegal dumping and even littering is quite prevalent and so the only effective way is to tackle the reason why people do these things in the first place or to tackle the accessibility of illegal dumping . should we have stronger laws and harsher punishments similar to how the Dutch treats littering? What do you think Andy Burnham should take? Or do you think that Andy Burnh...

The London tower makes planning Skyscrapers difficult

The London tower being classed as a world heritage site is a very popular destination in the UK it being just over 900 years old and built when William the Conqueror was around, but with popularity and for keeping history intact has made it very difficult for the City of London. There was a further proposal to make stronger protection views for the Tower of London. The City of London says that this could potentially make it so that 1 million square feet of planned spaces would make it impossible to build any further. To add to this Unesco is also getting involved. As the population of the UK continues to grow and London is an ever expanding city, the question raises, what do you think should happen? Should we priorities expanding growth inside of our city or even other cities, and that the proposal is too harsh, or should we protect our history and heritage and make our monuments be the center of attention. 3000 New homes near east Chiltington. What does the future hold?

Near east Chiltington east Sussex, there has been a proposal for new homes proposed by Eton college. Under Andy Burnham proposal to build many homes across the UK with a further 70000 across the UK. On one hand, new homes will make it cheaper for people to move in and home the many young adults still living with their parents. On the other hand, this could mean small villages or fields or land will be demolished to make way for these new homes, potentially upsetting the locals as Sussex county is already quite developed. Same goes for other areas such as Greater Manchester there was proposal to create 10000 homes there too Reported by HDSMIT Universal Herald Bureau chief desk of England Aaron James Reid If you want to join our whatsapp group, you can get the latest and most relevant news. In Willow Green, protest over unauthorised planning sparks community debate

Locals today on the 03/09/2026 are organising a protest at an undeveloped piece of land, and are now taking action against the authorised planning of the area. After the council failed to listen to the concerned citizens after 4 months of inaction.  The reason why they are so upset is because there are two rare animals in the area that they reside in, an albino fallow deer and a great crested Newt. there will be over 100 protesters coming to the protest and will they achieve their goal of stopping this? reported by HDSMIT Universal Herald Bureau chief desk of England Aaron James Reid if you want to join our whatsapp group so that you can get the latest most relevant news join on https://chat.whatsapp.com/CaCrgMjCsHwFD7DtHQrKNk?s=cl&p=i&mlu=4&ilr=4

Britain's 1000 year old tapestry is finally coming home

The Bayeux Tapestry depicting the Norman conquest of England in 1066, is now being displayed in the British museum and hasn't been in the UK ever since it was first created. King Charles and president Emmanuel Macron are visiting this artifact on the 02/09/2026. The museum will open the exhibition on the 10th of September  William the Conqueror’s half brother, the bishop Odo of Bayeux created this piece, but in 1077 after it was created moved to Normandy and resided there ever since. At that time period however he wouldn't have been moving to France but the new duchy of Normandy which would have been a part of England. Normandy having been exchanged multiple times during history would have gone from England to France and back until it had finally settled in France with the ending of the hundred years war. However, it has been exchanged for over 300 years ever since the creation. So will you visit this historic tapestry?

Britain's Forgotten Luxury Car Brand Returns After 15 Years

Bristol cars are making a huge return, just over a little 15 years ago. They have decided to create a two seater  super car and two other cars in the future, after stopping production and 2011 and being liquidated in 2020 but as of 02/09/2026 they are back. Having split from their parent aircraft company, and losing the ability to create their own v8 engines, not making competitive or modern innovation vs their rivals and not making enough sales, were the reason behind why they stopped. The fighter being one of those designs making its return too should be interesting and to see if they have learnt from their past mistakes.

An 89 year old lady enriching st john’s woods told no!!

What I love about people who show an interest, look after their community or personally enrich the surrounding areas for no sake of their own are the type of people we need more of. Unfortunately the Westminster council has targeted an elderly lady, the garden with a bench she was looking after for over 2 decades. Was encouraging anti social behaviour (could be street hooligans or such) and complaints but Katharine Hoskyns says that no one really complained about the garden except for 1 neighbour.  This kind of story reminds me of a Chinese lady who would plants trees in an area because the lands were going a process could desertification and one day a tourist visiting came and visited and when he sore that this lady was planting all of these trees, he was moved by this action and decided to give her £5000 as a gift. Fast forward today all of that land now has a huge forest.  Although the actions of Katharine Hoskyns aren't on the same scale. But I think this kind of action is...

Rutland county to be absorbed

In 2028 the Rutland country will no longer exist and will join into Leicestershire, as previously 10 signs marking the county's borders were mysteriously taken and so the government decided to take the other 17 signs too, and with that decision include the erasure of the UKs smallest county.  There are other reasons as to why the government is deciding to let go of Rutland as the government is deciding to consolidate many of the smaller councils in much larger ones so that the budget for these councils can focus more of their budget on increasing housing, but since Rutland is so small as a county. They think it is better to let them join another as well.  There is currently a Rutland movement in order to keep not only the smallest county status but for their belonging from their home. But will they be able to keep their home county or will the governments push for larger councils get in the way of their identity?

America pressuring the UK government over defence spending

America has been targeting its NATO members over the defence budget and the UK has come under fire from it, Donald Trump has warned that if the UK does not increase its defence budget, then they will withdraw their support for the sovereignty of the Falkland island.  This may also be an upcoming issue, ever since the Falkland wars America was there selling armaments to the UK and on the world stage defending the claim of the UK for the Falkland, but ever since Maduro has become president of Argentina and Trump being in favour of this new president. The question of whether Trump would favour Maduro's Argentina over Andy Burnham's government of the UK is coming into question.  Although this may be the case for the future, the UK position is to hold the status quo as the UK still feels confident on its own claim of the island, ever since the war broke out the defence budget was increased so that another Falkland war would look un promising and further advances were made in...

Title Russia threatening the UK

Image
As Andy Burnham makes his visit to Ukraine, Russia has become a lot more aggressive diplomatically and there have been calls to stock up with food and groceries for the uncertainty over the future. Such threats that they would bomb the UK over the support the UK has given. The UK being one the largest contributors and key ally when it comes to weapons and technology and while he had visited, Andy has given long ranged missile blueprints to them as well. Whether this is just bolstering from Russia or a genuine threat is to be seen but with the game the UK has been playing, contributing since the start the the Russia Ukraine war, probably isn't helping with that. So what the UK should ask is it ready for a war? Is it ready to change the lives for many of the citizens here in the UK? And if we do go to the war, what will the UK benefit from? When it comes to WW1 and WW2 and, the many interventions in other nations we have seen from the government from the past. The loss of lives and ...

New technology involving aviation fuel.

A trial was carried out using waste biomass ( wood chips, saw dusts, residue and wheat straws) into a product called ethanol. Ethanol isn't a new technology that has been been created but they manage to create a coproduct called biochar that comes with it that captures the carbon throughout the process, making it now a carbon negative fuel and recently they have managed to run a trial for 72hours and it was a huge success.transport as a whole is one of the largest producers of carbon, but with this technology, this could potentially eliminate carbon emissions from the aviation industry and perhaps transport as a whole.  This being with the competition of just taking oil from the ground and making it a fuel could still be difficult to transition to a net negative carbon based fuel when the infrastructure and accessibility is there. Although the war in the middle east has affected the fuel prices here in the UK the proposal to start drilling oil in the north sea could slow that...

More anti dumping regulations from China and belarus

More import regulations on welded tubes and pipes coming from China and Belarus. The type of piping includes and tubes are certain line pipes for oil and gas pipelines, certain casing and tubing used for drilling oil and gas, precision tubes and tubes and pipes with attached fitting used for civil air craft Will there be many more new regulations on the types of imports from China allowing our industries more flexibility or will there be pressure on China to make a deal in the future.will this further isolate the belarus from more global collaboration or will they retaliate with their own exports to the uk. Reported by The HDSMIT Universal Herald.

alternative farming practices to tackle drought in the uk

Image
William ker farms has been practicing and experiemnting in east anglia using aquifer recharging which is when underground aquifers that slowly get refilled from rainfall. The UK government hopes to see whether this practice is practical for the future use across the UK to fight against the drought conditions. There is also another practice called smart irrigation where they water plants depending on the soil types and crop types. These practices are being compared to standard farming practices, and maybe become the standard all across the uk. It was also announced that £50 million will be there to incentivise for sustainable farming and £15 million for on farm reservoirs. Reported by: Aaron Aries James (England Bureau Chief)

Andy Burnham to end rough sleeping

Image
£340 million is to be spent on ending rough sleeping as Andy Burnham has made it his mission to end this, although this is a noble goal to have. Will this be enough? Will there be jobs provided for them so that they get to have a stable income, then to also prevent people from becoming homeless too. If this isn't enough, will they end the practice of hostile architecture. If having some form of home is viewed to be a right, will they practice fighting against the many young adults still living with their parents. Although a nice gesture, what will the future of homelessness look like in the future or how will they practice against it. We will see Reported by: Aaron Aries James (England Bureau Chief)
