  • A complex diplomatic stand-off has emerged between Israel and international reconstruction partners. Israeli security authorities have officially refused to clear a proposed international military outpost project in Gaza, which was heavily backed by the US Board of Peace. The project, contractually managed by Arkel International, aimed to build a secure logistical base for 150 international troops tasked with monitoring regional humanitarian stabilization. However, Israel has placed a firm hold on the construction, stating that border logistics, entry controls, and sovereign security parameters must remain strictly under Israeli military command.
