RIYADH — The security situation in the Arabian Peninsula deteriorated sharply after the Iran-backed Houthi movement executed a coordinated, large-scale offensive against multiple civilian and energy facilities across Saudi Arabia. The strikes hit primary utility infrastructure and oil facilities in the southern regions of the country, triggering substantial fires and prompting emergency operational shutdowns.According to official declarations from the Saudi-led coalition, the attacks wounded at least 73 people, including women and children. Coalition commanders labeled the assault a "dangerous escalation" designed to destabilize the global energy corridor. This latest confrontation severely exacerbates the regional friction surrounding the broader conflict between the United States and Iran
