Dubai Fashion Week Moves to October as Regional Fashion Industry Expands

Dubai Fashion Week is preparing for its Spring/Summer 2027 edition, with the event scheduled to take place from October 22 to 26 in Dubai.

The fashion event, established in partnership with Dubai Design District, has become an important platform for designers from the Gulf and wider Arab region.

The 2026 edition has been moved from September to October as organisers seek to align the event more closely with international fashion and buying calendars.

The Arab Fashion Council has also appointed Amina Taher as its first chairwoman, adding a new leadership chapter to the organisation.

Dubai continues to strengthen its position as a regional centre for fashion, business and creative industries. The city's international connectivity has helped bring together designers, buyers, investors and audiences from different parts of the world.

Organisers are expected to use the upcoming edition to showcase regional talent and create opportunities for international collaborations.
