20mph Speed Limit Introduced Across Several Perry Barr Roads

LOCATION: Perry Barr, Birmingham, September 11, 2026

A new 20mph speed limit has come into effect across several roads in Perry Barr.

The order covers sections of Rocky Lane, Baltimore Road, Coleraine Road, Lavendon Road, Whitburn Avenue and a number of surrounding roads.

The new restrictions officially came into operation on September 11 following an order by Birmingham City Council.

The measure is intended to improve road safety and create safer conditions for residents, pedestrians and other road users in the area.
