New risks discovered for Pregnant women with Multiple long term mental or physical conditions

 Researchers at King’s College London, Queen's University Belfast, Bristol NHS Foundation Trust, the University of Birmingham, Swansea University and the University of St Andrews. It was discovered that pregnant women who have two or more long term physical and mental health conditions are more likely to have miscarriages (20%),pre-eclampsia (47%),likely to to have severe vomiting(69%) venous thromboembolism (2X 200%) and are very likely to develop depression and anxiety (4X 400%) compared to women who have no long-term conditions. 

With each new condition these risk were even higher, for woman that 3 or more,the risk of venous thromboembolism was (3 ½  350%).Women that have multiple mental or physical conditions, Placental abruption 32% gestation diabetes 26%
