Situated 45 kilometers off the Dutch coastline in the rough waters of the North Sea, the specialized facility integrates high-capacity proton-exchange membrane (PEM) electrolyzers driven entirely by surrounding deep-water megawatt wind turbines.
The technical core of the offshore facility processes ocean water through multi-stage desalination membranes before routing it to the automated electrolysis blocks, generating pure hydrogen gas without any localized carbon discharge.
