BHILAI — The civil engineering wing of the Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) Town Services Department has successfully completed the extensive road reinforcement and bitumen overlay phase along the busy Central Avenue corridor today, August 8, 2026. The high-priority structural restoration targeted deep potholes and damaged structural lane foundations caused by heavy logistics transit and seasonal monsoon rainfall. Township authorities confirmed that key intersections leading toward Durg, Nehru Nagar, and Bhilai-3 are now fully stabilized and safe, significantly optimizing local vehicular flow and cutting commuting delays across the industrial belt.
